What to expect when I contact the therapist?

After submitting an inquiry through the contact page, calling, or emailing, there will be a short phone consultation with you (5 min) and we will set up your first appointment. Dependent if the therapist has room in case load.

What to expect during my first appointment?

We will get to know each other to make sure this is the right fit for you.

We will discuss your rights to confidentiality and the information you share with the therapist.

We will set goals and discuss what you would like to accomplish during therapy.

How long will the appointment last?

The average psychotherapy session lasts for 50 minutes

What should I expect to pay at each appointment?

A 50 minute individual session is $150.00 and is paid at the beginning of each session. Depending on the clients specific needs the therapist may offer to do a 70 minute session for $180.00. A 50 minute couples or family session is $180.00 and is paid at the beginning of each session. Depending on the clients specific needs the therapist may offer to do a 70 minute session for $250.00. Current states sales tax applicable at time of service.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. HMSA, HMSA-Quest, HMAA, and UHA are all accepted.

Is there an extra cost depending on marriage, individual, or family counseling?

Yes. There is one set fee for a 50 minute individual session and one set fee for a 50 minute couples and family session.
